Automatic time tracking? Yes please!

Auto-registration is the right solution for you if you have employees with fixed working hours who typically work the same number of hours each week. Their registrations are auto-generated in the system, so all they have to do is register deviations such as illness, holidays, courses and the like.

Digital time registration Made easy for everyone

With autoregistration it becomes easy to comply with all legal requirements

With Intempus auto-registration, employees’ daily working hours are automatically registered in the system. All employees need to do is register any deviations, such as illness, holidays, courses, etc.

On the same day, the recording will be stored as “planned work” in the app until at night, when it will be converted to recorded, unless the employee has made a deviation recording, as is the case in the video.

The solution is optimal for companies with salaried employees with fixed salaries and fixed working hours.

The ideal solution for salaried employees

The Working Time Registration Act applies - with very few exceptions - to all employees, including salaried employees.

But of course, salaried employees who are employed for the same number of hours each day don't need to register the same every day. Instead, you can get a solution with auto-registration, which means they only need to register if they deviate from their normal working hours.

FAQ about digital time tracking

Are you a new or existing customer and have questions about Intempus?

You can see some of our frequently asked questions here.

What is auto-registration in time tracking?

Auto-registration is a feature where the system automatically registers working hours based on rules, patterns or attendance without the employee having to manually enter time. In Intempus, auto-registration can be used to automatically register working hours, breaks or repetitive work schedules, for example, saving time and avoiding errors.

How does autoregistration work in Intempus?

Intempus uses company work schedules, calendars or defined rules to create time registrations automatically. For example, the system can record fixed meeting times, scheduled shifts or standard daily hours so employees don't have to enter repetitive hours themselves.

What are the benefits of automatic time tracking?

Auto-enrolment reduces manual work, minimises typing errors, ensures consistent registration and improves compliance with internal regulations and legal requirements. It improves accuracy in payroll, overtime and HR reports.

Can autoregistration account for breaks and absences?

Yes, Intempus can be set up so that self-registration includes breaks, holidays, sickness and flex time according to the company's time and break guidelines. This ensures correct registration of working hours and absences.

How does auto-registration differ from manual time tracking?

With manual registration, employees enter their own time every day. Auto-registration automatically registers time according to set rules, so employees don't have to make repeated entries. This increases efficiency and minimises errors.

Does Intempus fulfil the legal requirements to be a reliable, accessible and objective time tracking system?

Yes, Intempus fulfils all legal requirements for working time registration.

The law states that you as an employer must provide a system for your employees to register time and absence before 1 July 2024. The system must also be able to store the information for 5 years.

With the Intempus Basic package, you get an easy and user-friendly solution that meets all legal requirements.

Do salaried employees also have to record time?

The requirements for recording working hours also apply to salaried employees, even if you are on a fixed salary and have fixed working hours.

An easy solution for salaried employees is auto-registration. Here, employees' working hours are automatically registered. They only need to register themselves if they deviate from their normal working hours, e.g. due to overtime, illness, holidays, care days or training.

Can you plan working hours and shifts for employees in a time tracking system?

It varies from system to system. In Intempus, administrators can easily plan working hours and holidays for employees.

For planned work or holidays, the activity will be available as a suggestion for a report for the employees in the app. From here, all it takes is a single swipe, and the report is done.

However, employees cannot schedule or swap their shifts themselves.

Can you get an integration between your time tracking system and payroll system?

Intempus integrates with payroll systems such as Visma Løn, DataLøn, ProLøn, Danløn, Lessor and Epos. With a payroll integration, you can easily transfer approved hours, holidays, sick hours, mileage, expenses, allowances etc. from Intempus to the payroll system, so payroll runs are quick and accurate.

Can a time tracking system handle our collective agreement?

Yes, we can handle that at Intempus. We can set up overtime rules according to one or more collective agreements, so you automatically comply with the collective agreement rules for all types of employees without worry.
