Working time tracking has never been easier

Recording working hours is a legal requirement. Fortunately, it can be done easily and efficiently for both workplace and employees. Here you can read more about how we recommend that your organisation complies with the legal requirements for recording working hours.

Do you comply with legal requirements for recording working hours?

In July 2024, it became mandatory for all employers to implement a system for recording working hours for all employees. With an easy and customised solution from Intempus, you can ensure you comply with all requirements.

Working time registration on the app

Work time tracking made easy and accessible

The Intempus app makes it easy for all employees to record the working day - time, mileage, allowances, materials, expenses and absences - and it can even be done instantly via mobile app.

The reports are sent directly to the administration system where all reports can easily be approved and forwarded to payroll or accounting.

Ideal for salaried employees

Do you have salaried employees with fixed working hours? Then they don't need to register their working hours every day. Their accounts can be set up with auto-registration so that their daily working hours are automatically registered. All they need to do is register when they deviate from the agreed working hours - e.g. due to overtime, illness, holidays, care days, courses or other reasons.

In the app's balance function, all employees can always see their holiday balance, time off in lieu balance and get an overview of kilometres driven and illness.

Easy authorisation of working hours and absence

Nobody wants to spend unnecessary time on administrative tasks. That's why we've created an easy-to-use time tracking system that digitises the daily administrative tasks for both employees and administrators.

In Intempus Web, administrators can approve employee reports with just a few clicks. You can also schedule working hours or holidays, monitor that all employees use their holidays and much more.

Working time tracking is a system for collecting data on employees' working hours. Employees enter their hours on an app, PC or tablet. The reports are then available to the administrator for approval and can then be forwarded to payroll or invoicing.

Why is it mandatory to register working hours in Denmark?

Under Danish law, employers must provide an objective and reliable system for employees to document their working hours. This is especially true for employees covered by the Working Time Directive and EU legislation.

What is the difference between time tracking and working time tracking?

Time registration typically refers to hours, allowances, breaks and mileage while working time registration refers to the rules on documentation of the working day, including rest time.

Can Intempus automatically calculate flexitime and holidays?

Yes, the system can be set up to calculate flex time and holidays automatically based on recorded working hours, absence and applicable regulations, eliminating manual handling.

What does the new law on working time registration say?

On 1 July 2024, the new legal requirements regarding working time registration came into force. This means that all companies must make a working time registration system available to all employees. You can read more about the legal requirements here.

What requirements does the Danish Working Environment Authority have for recording working hours?

The Danish Working Environment Authority requires that the registration is accurate, accessible and stored for at least five years so that authorities can verify correct working time registration. The system must be reliable, objective and accessible to both employees and administrators.

Can you get an integration between your time tracking system and payroll system?

Intempus integrates with payroll systems such as Visma Løn, DataLøn, ProLøn, Danløn, Lessor, Zenegy and Epos. With a payroll integration, you can easily transfer approved hours, holidays, sick hours, mileage, expenses, allowances etc. from Intempus to the payroll system, making payroll runs fast and accurate.

Can working time tracking be integrated with payroll and financial systems?

How it works. Intempus integrates with many payroll systems (e.g. Visma, ProLøn, Danløn, e-conomic), so data can be exported directly to payroll, invoicing or HR reports.

Does Intempus integrate with e-conomic?

Yes, we have a strong two-way integration that automatically allows data to flow between the two systems. This means that if a new customer is created in e-conomic, the customer is also automatically created in Intempus. Or if reports are approved in Intempus, they can be automatically transferred to the relevant project in e-conomic and are ready for invoicing. Read more about our integration partners here.

Can you register driving in Intempus?

Yes, you can easily register your work mileage in our Time tracking app. Driving is easily registered by entering the start and end location. From here you can also choose to add a return distance if you need to return the same way.

Driving can also be registered in both private and company cars, and directly on projects. Finally, a note can be added to the mileage report, which SKAT appreciates. See more features here for both app and web.

Can a working time tracking system handle our collective agreement?

Yes, we can handle that at Intempus. We can set up overtime rules according to one or more collective agreements, so you automatically comply with the collective agreement rules for all types of employees without worry.

How does Intempus handle overtime, breaks and rest periods?

Intempus can be set up with automatic rules for overtime, minimum and maximum working hours, breaks and rest periods so that any deviations are registered and handled in accordance with law and collective agreements.

How does Intempus handle collective labour agreement rules?

Intempus can be customised to support specific collective agreement rules, including break lengths, salary calculation rules and working time frameworks to ensure your company complies with applicable agreements.

Can you plan working hours and shifts for employees in a time tracking system?

It varies from system to system. In Intempus, administrators can easily plan working hours and holidays for employees.

For planned work or holidays, the activity will be available as a suggestion for a report for the employees in the app. From here, all it takes is a single swipe, and the report is done.

However, employees cannot schedule or swap their shifts themselves.

What data does management get access to in the system?

Management gets access to dashboards, reports on hours, absence, overtime, flexitime, blooming time registrations and export features for better overview and planning possibilities.

How is data protection and personal data secured in Intempus?

Intempus follows applicable data protection regulations and GDPR for storage, access and processing of employee data, so confidentiality and security are in focus.
